Please explain, in as much detail as possible, how your character's canon world will be AUed to be set in this universe:

Her world has already been AU’d into this universe.

Character AU History (be detailed!):

The events of the first Thor movie essentially happened in this world as well. After Thor vanished though through the Veil instead of via ‘wormhole,’ Jane dedicated her research specifically to finding a way to get to him. She made great strides in research in regards to the Veil, though after she saw the conflict between Thor and Loki in Russia and did not get a visit from him, she basically gave up on him, returning to doing more general research and not focusing on him specifically.

Eventually, she was contacted by the Knights. We can go into detail more, but this was what I understood to be the basic gist.

Chosen "Canon" Point: See above.

Personality and Psychology:

Jane’s dedication to her work and her research is likely the first thing people notice when they meet her. She’s incredibly dedicated to it, even before she found an even more personal aspect to focus on, and it’s literally her life’s worth. Thus, it is the focal point of her life, and most other aspects of her life resultingly revolve around it. Her devotion to her research is obvious as she spends most of her time either actively being involved in it, reading books to further her knowledge, or taking personal notes as the muses about theories.

Her best friends are also her colleagues, though that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have close personal friendships with these people. Darcy, in particular, is her closest friend as well as essentially her research assistant, even if Darcy herself isn’t really all that knowledgeable in the specific topic of Jane’s research. It doesn’t really matter, though, seeing as Jane’s own knowledge on the subject is more than sufficient, considering she’s close to the top scientist in her field. Instead, Darcy is there to help her with other things, such as thinking outside the box, making various connections that would result of that, and handling any other interns Jane might have. Sometimes she also drives, though Jane seems to regret that every time.

Not that Jane is a very good driver herself. /cough

Her other closest friend was also a former colleague of her father and her professor while she was in school, Eric Selvig. He’s more of a father figure to Jane, giving her advice and bringing her back down to earth when he believes she’s letting her theories run away from her. He’s the calm to Jane’s excitement, as sometimes she can get so wrapped up in a thought or an idea that she will let it take over her more logical traits.

This ability, however, is probably what allows her to make more strides than those who stick too close to only scientific principles and logic. Allowing herself to believe Thor, even if he sounded like an insane person, led her to make discoveries that no one would have thought possible. Her ability to believe in magic as well as science simultaneously makes her intelligence even more powerful, but also potentially dangerous if she’s not too careful with how she conducts her experiments.

She has a lot of self-esteem, though she isn’t arrogant about it. She’s stubborn and steadfast, though be careful if you push her too far. And don’t mess with her research or her stuff or she’ll give you hell. She’s not a woman that needs to be saved, and her ability to think quick on her feet and keep a cool head will make her more likely to result in her saving others instead. Even when she thinks she can do nothing, she’ll still try, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a more kind-hearted and loyal friend.

Jane isn’t particularly experienced when it comes to matters of the heart, but that doesn’t seem to stop her the first time she meets Thor. Then again, who can blame her, if you’ve ever seen him. When he disappears, she puts all her energy into finding him so that they can be reunited, only to have her emotions essentially stomped on when she finds out he made it back to her dimension on all his own and didn’t come to see her. No matter how enamoured with him she might be, her strength to put herself first results in her giving up on him instead of continuing to seek him out. She’s not the type to think she doesn’t deserve more or to beat herself up over someone else’s choices. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have difficulty with it, as anyone would when seemingly being rejected by someone they love, but she has enough love for herself to not let it drag her down and keeps herself moving.

She’s even started to try and date again when she’s contacted by the Knights, though if she ever sees Thor again...there will be words.

Powers and Abilities:

Actual genius. Multiple degrees. Really likes SCIENCE. One of the world’s leading astrophysicists. Intelligent in many other areas as well. Can craft complex devices to help with her research.

Also, is an actual cinnamon roll. No powers, though. Very much human.
